I just figured out why these guys are better than every other reaction channel. One word. AUTHENTICITY. Shout out to George and Ryan, never thought when I subscribed to this channel back in the day that these guys would be contacted by Maynard and actually see them live. From a 25 year TOOL fan, I thank you for your content.
For real, most of these "reaction" channels feel so fake. Like, "vocal coach hears Mike Patton for the first time!!! :O" videos always get an eyeroll from me, because what vocal coach hasn't heard Mike Patton? Lost in Vegas are the real ones.
You JUST figured this out? Lol
@@oceanmachine420 it is all fake. These idiots are actors.
@@oceanmachine420 they are not real dummy
Tool sounds exactly the same as they did 25 years ago, incredible
Loved when Layne Staley sang with Maynard
❤️🎶🤘
I'm impressed with Maynard , at 57 still pulling off that scream at the end. On this recent tour he's doing the long scream in the song The Grudge.
I'm probably wrong, but didn't he record the vocals for this version a few years ago? I think I remember reading about this before Fear Inoculum.
I just saw them in St. Louis, they were great. His vocals were spot on.
Hes been sounding perfect on Pushit too
I saw them twice this tour and was impressed by his vocals. I don't think recent recordings capture the mix correctly and makes him sound a little off
Not quite pulling it off the way it was originally done. Lol
I bought this EP 30 years ago when it first came out. I told all my metal and grunge friends " these guys will blow people's minds". Great job Tool for the 30+ years of amazing music!
I was a punk rock kid back then, only liked a tiny amount of metal and grunge. I liked Tool immediately. Still listen to them.
Same thing here but my friends hated it. I said y’all are idiots.
Swapped Nirvana Bleach for Opiate and hooked since. Seeing 30yrs posted, makes me feel old.
I had the ep and the wrench/penis t-shirt. Tool changed my life with the subject matter and the artwork. How'd you discover them?
Same
The title "Opiate" is a reference to the Karl Marx quote, "Religion is the opiate of the masses."
Also: Adam Jones and Tom Morello were high school friends and bandmates, so kudos on picking up on their mutual influence!
Exactly!👍
I wish more people read other Marx quotes on religion where he refers to it as "the sigh of the oppressed," "the heart of a heartless world," "the soul of soulless conditions," and that "religious suffering is the expression of real suffering and also a protest against it."
Anti-theist edgelords like Maynard take this quote out of context without understanding that opiates didn't have the modern stigma in the time of Marx and that it's not meant to be conveyed in a condescending manner.
@@dillondruggz you fundamentally misunderstand Marx, the opiate of the masses is referring to organized religion, the big churches and clergies, that control people, he (and also Maynard) are not attacking personal religion, they are saying that big religions take advantage of the oppressed masses that are looking for some hope in this world
and just a heads up, calling people edgelords for having conflicting beliefs to yours is a very immature way to look at things, hope you grow as an individual
This^! A friend of mine was the singer for the band Opiate for the Masses
@@grey_f98 taking a quote completely out of context isn't a "conflicting belief," but whatever. You also fundamentally misunderstand the direct quotes from Marx I cited that are sympathetic to religious belief. Anti-theist sentiment is just internalized capitalism that's rooted in eugenics, anyhow, so I'm fine with being considered "immature" by people like that.
And just a heads up, the majority of the working class are religious or spiritual in some way, so good luck with uniting the proletariat by saying that Jesus wants to rape them or whatever dipshit edgelord nonsense Maynard croons in this song
Without sounding too cliche those long sections in tool music are just so incredible especially when you're just sitting alone in the dark with a good set of headphones it really takes you on a ride. I think that's why their fans are so dedicated no matter how many times you hear their music it just takes you somewhere away from your daily bullshit and troubles
You nailed it buddy. As the great Bill Hicks said "It's just a ride."
Exactly, that's how you're supposed to listen to Tool music. And also to watch horror movies, just that with different results on our emotions each case. xD
Those long sections are especially incredible when experienced live. Wow! Will never miss a show near me.
15:40 The way Danny played in this part gave me goosebumps. Every member of this band is the greatest of all time for me. I love Tool for life!
Would love to see a reaction for “Rosetta Stoned” by Tool from you two. Pure technical brilliance and crazy ass rapid fire alien abduction lyrics from Maynard :-)
And Lost Keys to start it off. Trust me, I've been campaigning for that song for years lol
I really wanna see their reaction to wings for marie pt1 and 2. They already listened to Judith so this is a must...but Lost keys and Rosetta stoned I will also take hands down!!!
Here Here!
I have requested this on every single one of their tool reactions I think. I strongly believe it's the song that should have went up in the alternative challenge they had. It would have won IMO.
Seriously guys, ROSETTA STONED!!!!!
My favorite 🖤
One of the best things about Tool is the music takes as long as it needs to take. There is no shortcuts. If the intro needs to be 2 minutes long to properly get you into the mindset, or flow of the song, then they will take 2 minutes to do the intro. So much music today is simplified to appease a generation with short attention spans. If Tool made neat little 3-4 minute songs it would lose all of its uniqueness and they'd just be another prog metal band trying to sell records instead of inspire and influence people
kids these days with our short attention spans 🙄🙄
Thank you for this comment and it’ll give me space to expand in it. A lot of music doesn’t let you rinse in the mood or riff and just glaze’s over it. There’s a feeling in every piece of music for it to creep into your skin that sometimes needs time to settle.. Tool gets that and to me the best Tool songs are the long epic ones
You had me until you mentioned music is made to appease a generation with short attention spans. Your language just feels a little judgmental. Punk was a thing before Tool you know, not to mention short songs have literally been around since music started to become commercialized. I agree that Tool does something that isn’t present in a lot of music, but there’s zero need to start throwing younger people under the bus with stuff like “they have short attention spans.” It just sounds a little out of touch.
@@moustachioasfvewhfe3 amen bro
@LawlessLee I don’t think they are being whiny but instead implying the question as to why we just sit back and let things like that happen. If in your case you notice that attention spans of others are dwindling, why not try and help out? Give creative feedback and attempt to connect with them. Step in their shoes and ask yourself why they enjoy shorter songs. Music is subjective so I don’t think it really matters how long a song takes so long as the listener is engaged. Plus, shorter songs can have pros too depending on how you look at it. It gives you the opportunity to flip from sound to sound and scratch every musical itch you may have. I love prog but even the best of musicians can get repetitive at times. What I’m saying is “Why is trashing them the first instinct?” People are not going to improve by being surrounded by others that belittle them. You could try and make the argument that generations get softer as we go and that tough love is the response to it but again, we are the ones to help guide our children and clearly trashing their supposed spinelessness and attention spans are our go to, leading to disassociation and disconnection. Incidentally, I wonder if these actions would result in a massive amount of resentment in the future making matters even worse. Everyone for themselves it seems. Basically, “Life’s hard, kid? Get tough.” If I was a kid reading comments with similar intentions as this, I’d feel a sense of abandonment. That I’m supposed to pander to what people older than me want and that reasoning and communicate have gone out the window. I think we have to remember that mindsets like this have a collateral effect on those around us. Especially those that are young, extremely impressionable and looking to adults for support. Idk. I’m sorry you are unimpressed with the younger generations. If I had a younger brother I’d probably try and do something about it, even if it was futile. But even if I made no progress whatsoever, I’d still accept them for who they are, flaws and all. Everything i said could be wrong but I’m just happy I got the opportunity to type them out. I hope you have a good night and thanks for inspiring these thoughts. 😃❤️
Maynard's voice seems innocent & pure at the beginning of the song, then transitions to a hypnotic, almost wavy sound like being under the influence and finishes in rage. Tool songs aren't too long when you're under the influence, the ones not enjoying the hypnotic jam sessions are too sober.
The whole Opiate album has an unpolished/demo feel to it but thats what makes it special in its own way
100% I came to Tool when Aenima released and worked my way backwards. Opiate's sound is so iconic for me despite how iconic their later sound is!
One of my all-time favorite TOOL songs is "Parabol/Parabola". If you guys haven't heard it, it checks all the boxes. Amazing!!!
They would love it
Oh my gosh your right on! One of my all time favorites!
Absolutely!! Love it
The way Parabol eases you into Parabola is amazing. I wonder if George and Ryan would like that because each song is under 7 minutes and they can be listened to separately or together. It might be their cup of tea.
Ya but u cant do just one u gotta do em together or no go
It's like they mixed Opiate and Reflection into one song with their new style added in 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
And a little "Pneuma"
hell yeah, reflection is very under rated
Great description and I agree. Somehow they keep sounding like themselves but still producing amazing new work.
If there's a top 10 Tool
Reflection is in it 100%
brilliant track, very underrated
I remember the first time I saw tool I was sitting high up and was glued to dany playing reflection and thought Holy shit, this the greatest thing I've seen played on a drumkit in person.
Sorry if this has been said, but the brilliance of this version sounds to me like a sonic representation of the trajectory of their career. It gives such a huge tip of the hat their Opiate EP, while taking us on this killer journey. Super nostalgic, for me. Every minute of a tool song that exists, exists because it must. Just my humble perspective.
Tool is the greatest band still active. No questions, no debates, just adoration at the altar of awesomeness. I’m glad these guys are promoters!
My favorite thing about Tool is how you can see a theme of a musical idea develop from a tiny kernal into a giant theme. No one else does that!
This track is amazing because even the "old" parts feel modern, and the rest is an expressive departure from the original while staying true to what we love about Tool. It was great hearing this live last month.
I'm so happy they released this extended rendition via studio. I've always loved that interlude that drops in at 2:45 in track (@11:10), and now I can do so without hearing crowd chatter in the background and shitty phone recording for audio.
HI BOB
I love both versions, but there is something about this one that hits differently than original. Those older songs from Opiate EP and Undertow album are my favorites. I love Danny's drumming all the time, but I can hear so much tribal drumming in this one.
I haven’t heard this song in a while and I was thinking it sounded different. I didn’t realize there was a different version. The other one sounds more finished.
They came around with RATM, on this live album Maynard makes reference to Zach from the band, they actually recorded this at a show they performed together, also Maynard does guest vocals on RATM first album
Also, this is not the original version.
Loved the bottom live ft Zack on vocals with Maynard
Story I always heard was that he was referring to the lead singer of Green Jello/Green Jelly, but there's also a story that it was a coworker/friend of Maynard's that was heckling him.
Yup the "Bob Marley" guy isn't Zack but the connection between the 2 bands is strong either way
I was lucky enough to see both of those bands on the same bill and Maynard came out to sing his part on RAtM's "Know Your Enemy" live. I don't think we will ever see that happen again any time soon. Sucks being old, but Gen X did get to see a lot of cool shows back in the 90's.
Saw Tool for the first time about a month ago in KC... I honestly can't even put into words how that experience felt. Legendary
I first saw Tool play live in 1993,and then six more shows over the years. The most recent was a few months ago and I took my daughter(16),who loves the vocals.
What I can tell you about the band as a fan of almost 30 years...they are a work in progress. Better every time.Every album.Every tour.I have passed the torch to the next generation and it's in good hands.
Peace be with you guys, and keep doing what you are.Your channel is important.
🤘✌👍
They’ve been playing this version live for a few years. So incredibly happy that they officially recorded it.. that somber guitar section in the middle gives me goosebumps. Tool doesn’t have to be for everyone, if they don’t like Tool because they don’t have the patience, then go listen to literally anything else.
The song was originally released in 1992. TOOL have been performing this version of the song live on tour, but this is the first time the studio version of this song is available [From Discogs]
This song was released approximately 8 months before RATM's 'Killing in the Name.'
You two did really well with that ad. Good job ~ I love listening to Tool when I'm high AF. So I smoked a bowl and here I am. ♥
This was fun to watch. I’ve never seen George “trance out” like he did during the atmospheric part. I’m sure others have explained this, but for the last 10+ years, they have played this extended version of Opiate live in concerts. But this is the first time the extended version has been given the studio treatment. It’s not meant to replace the original. It’s just an absolute gift to longtime fans.
While I absolutely love Tool & they’re one of my favorite bands, I completely understand how they’re not for everyone & I get it. To me though they’re god mode lol
I love you 😭🔥😍
TOOL is AWESOME ♾⛓
I think he also explained it very well. People don´t usually give their reasons for not liking certain music, and that can be frustrating for those who like it, becase they want to understand why the other person doesn´t like it. Here, he says his reasons as to why some people can´t like it as much and that´s fine.
Tool is my favorite band. I feel the same way. I never force it onto friends. Because I also like music from all kinds of genres and admit that Tool might not be an easy listen. For whatever reason, I am always hooked by Tool and never notice the time.
I have wasted so many weeks attempting to meticulously articulate the absolute mastery of their music, and it always ends up with them slack-jawed. It drives me crazy! I’m 52. Tool and Floyd are my 2 favorite bands, and after listening to both for 30 years I feel like both hit me in a specific spot in my heart that none other do. Peace, everybody!
I for one love the whole E.P., but I've found that alot of newer fans who started in the other end of the discography are somewhat underwhelmed by Opiate and to some extent even by Undertow.
I'm not a newer fan and there is no doubt Tool became the closer to what they are with aenima. The ep and undertow is when they were finding themselves.
This is true, I love all tool, but this is why opiate squared didn’t hit for me as hard as the original, it felt like an unnecessary redo for me
there is an aggression on the EP that is not used in their later albums. great band/musicians with music that can speak in different ways to different people.
we had years to love opiate and undertow and aenima
used to be a bunch of assholes that lived in this part of the building here. but we systematically removed them like you would any kind of termite or roach
One of the best things about TOOL is that the songs get better every time you listen to them.
can't get enough Tool reactions from you guys! Keep em coming I'm eating them all up
Rosetta Stoned or Wings part 1&2 would great to see eventually!
I saw them perform this song at the new haven coliseum in 2000. I new then and there, they were the greatest band I’ve ever seen. Nothing comes close.
Perfectly put.
Ever see P.I.L.?
@@Silence_Duder_Gooder who?
@@alecalfaras5936, Public Image Ltd?
Source them.
They're QUITE different.
@@Silence_Duder_Gooder they were part of the first show I ever saw. New Order/PiL/Sugarcubes, Jones Beach, July 1989.
Danny's prolonged build up is something else.
That sly smile when the sections end into either quiet or loud is the tell tale sign of the appreciation for this band's style.
I know that George and Ryan liked the song, but this just has so much more meaning after listening to the original for 25+ years. The original is for the most part faster, shorter, and more stripped down. It is for the most part the same. I love the older TOOL don’t get me wrong, but I love how they tied in their new sound. It brings you back and then reorients you.
If what you want is a TOOL song that is just a bit more groovier, just a bit harder, a little more to the point, then you should check out Stinkfist. It is the first song I ever heard by TOOL, on a bus in the middle of the night heading to Colorado, and my first time experiencing the mountains. It has a really cool hook and groove and just totally rocks. I would absolutely love to see a reaction.
How could anyone not love the breakdown in the middle of this masterpiece?
Tool and Rage used to jam a lot back in the day, the songs Part of Me (Tool) and Killing in the Name of (Rage) were essentially the same song structure
And love your comment George, regarding the prolonged bridge-like section. I know a few of my friends and my lady just don't dig it. Those parts get so transcendental and entrancing with slight nuance and anticipation
Imagine being an artist with a message you want to get out and knowing that you have artists like Justin, Adam, and Danny to support you and bring their own musical mastery to the table to elevate it beyond what you could do on your own. So good!!!
There are really 2 versions of Tool, the change happened during the Aenima album when Justin became the new bassist and they brought in producer David Bottrill
You can definitely hear the change in sound at that moment.
You HAVE to check out early tool. Jerk Off is a great pick. The Album Version is a Live Version. Amazing. Totally different from the Tool you know. And yes, Opiate is an EP that is there 1st release. Before Undertow. Not a Demo.
Exactly. But there are also songs on Undertow that were a part of their catalog during that era too
They are playing this live on tour. 1st time I heard it. It was amazing. They also have an "Extended Stinkfist" they do live.
I much prefer the original, far more moving, emotional and raw. I think you guys should definitely do more early Tool, from either Opiate or Undertow. If opiate, jerk off would be great and almost anything from undertow is great. Maynard's voice is far more of its own instrument earlier on, and their earliest stuff is generally more raw, punchy and immediate. If you want to hear Tool with less of the long musical interludes, early era tool is where it's at.
Yes! Exactly
The original opiate is so much better
@@toddwilling1 I couldn't agree more
Agree
100%. Jerk-off Live is the shit.
The breakdown is everything man,
I would love to see you guys do more reactions off of undertow. Songs like bottom, prison sex and 4°. Such a gritty and raw sound off that first album.
Bottom is an amazing song! Love the whole album
Prison Sex is dope
Thats something I never thought I would say
Intolerance is highly underrated.
Yup I got to say undertow is my favorite album
Hey guys, your videos are excellent, always enjoy your input on all the music you listen to and review. Love your perspective, love the fact that you guys are willing to enjoy and appreciate the whole array of music that’s out there in this world, you guys are true music fans and you give a great detailed description of all that is great about tunes in life. Bless your hearts, Hope you guys are always able to enjoy life and music, rock on!
I keep coming back, because you keep listening to TOOL. I LOVE your love for open-minded listening to music of all different genres. Since you like Maynards vocals so much, I wonder if you've ever heard PASSENGER by DEFTONES. Maynard sings along with Chino Moreno for an amazing well put together song. Hopefully you can do a reaction vid for this one. Thanks guys, keep up the good work. Keep it real🥰
The song Opiate was the title track for their debut EP. There was actually a demo that had versions of songs that were on the EP (2 as live tracks) but that one is a rare find. This is basically a re-recording and reworking of the song. The intro before the vocals and the extended instrumental break were not part of the original version.
I loved the original, and the new version somehow topped it. I watched a different reaction video, and they thought it was horrible, I don't understand why, but the breakdown in the middle is brilliant
I’ll tell you why. And I don’t think it’s horrible but it doesn’t hold a candle to the original. It sounds unfinished, Maynard is way too loud, and the new elements to it didn’t really add anything that was necessary imo. Just my take.
Interesting
It's old Tool and new Tool combined, I love it!
@@dutchmastah07 I agree. Feels a little try hard compared to the original.
It sounds too poppy like a bad cover band.
This damn band and their ability to transport the listener into outer space! They are without a doubt, one of the greatest bands of all time. Saw both local shows this past tour 🤘🤘
Opiate is my favorite record by them. Every song is bad ass, less mathy and just kickass!
"Less mathy" love it!
@11:30 I wanna hear him whisper "Watch the weather change."
Missed opportunity to react to both original and remake in a single video!
I found you guys just a couple of days ago, but ive already seen lots of your videos. So glad to hear you enjoy Tool and Opeth - my two lifelong favorites! Your energy is amazing!
Tool is a finisher!
Meaning you might not like the beginning of the song but by the end of the song you’re in and get where they took you.
Carey and keenan were both in green jelly (jello) prior to tool forming.. Zack de la rocha, tom morello, keenan and everyone were friends. Morello credits keena for introducing him to Drop D tuning.. On the original opiate album keenan "shouts out" zack... Keenan also sang on song with RATM... Believe it or not both keenan and zack were being considered for vocals by morello and wilkes before choosing Zack to be vocalist for RAGE....
I was 14 when Opiate came out in 93 and i fell in love! Now im 44 and Tool is still my favorite band of all time! Ive seen them live 5 times! Every show was absolutely unbelievable! I haven't loved anything else that long except food and boobies!!
Cool that y'all mentioned a connection with Rage. The two bands have always been close. Supposedly, Maynard showed Tom Morello drop-D tuning & the two almost formed a band together before Tool & Rage formed. Also, Tom & Adam were in a band together called Electric Sheep. The two groups had a great deal of influence on one another.
Original EP was amazing 1992. Raw, angry and powerful. I dig this too.
wasn't aware that this came out until this vid popped up on my feed. the OG version didn't click for me for some reason, but massive agree, this was fire. Thanks as usual guys!
This remake was started in 2012 as a 20th anniversary of their debut EP thing. It was never finished or released till now as a 30th anniversary thing. The main differences between this and the original are they added that intro and the interlude. The original EP had none of that progressive Tool and was just pure raw venom and aggression.
I disagree this is more polished the instrumentals are stronger the singing is better it's more enjoyable for me. I prefer it to original
Side note: Adam Jones from Tool and Tom Morello from Rage Against the Machine went to the same high school together (Libertyville HS in Libertyville IL) and hung out together when both bands were forming in the late 80's/early 90's. This song is a brand new recently recorded "remix"/redux of their first big song from 1991 "Opiate", hence the 2 or squared designation. I just thought you should know seeing that you made the Rage comparison...yeah there were some influences between bands because the members were and still are close, if I'm not mistaken.
Tool make you earn it. They don’t just hand it to you. You have to let go and be willing to be taken on the journey without your scattered, impatient mind. Be in the moment outside of time. That’s the only way the magic can happen.
Tool is my favorite band ever. What do you think are the best songs to get someone into Tool if they’ve never heard them before?
I am falling in love with Tool. This song is amazing.
Danny Carey doing calculus in that middle section
I think what Ryan was describing at the end of the video to shorten it up a little time wise and cut out a little of the long atmospheric section to make the song more readily listenable (and don’t get me wrong it was great in it’s entirety) actually is ‘’the original Opiate’’ (5:20 not counting the gap and hidden song). Hence why it is important to know your roots… Not hatin, just saying; might want to check that out cause you’ll probably like it. I recommend the whole album. Of course if Tool rubbed 2 sticks together and plucked a rubber band and tapped on a beer can it would probably sound incredible and I’d recommend that too…
The first Maynard scream since Lateralus and people just out here complaining
I love that you two love Tool. The fact that you're referencing songs from all of their albums. You are true music connoisseurs.
Tool - H
Tool - Eulogy
I remember hearing about this recording 5 years ago, so for Maynard's vocals, it's definitely a recording from 5 years ago.
He's been singing the way he has, currently, since A Perfect Circle's Eat the Elephant from 2018.
“Religion is the Opiate of the masses” You guys nailed it without knowing the expression. I remember seeing them play this version of this song live and it’s ironic because it was like a religious experience. To me I wish the middle section was longer but of course I’m a Tool fan lol.. This is a remake of a song off the title ep and the original didn’t have the middle section at all but for the most part it’s about the same. Of course the crescendo at the end is a call back to the middle section, which is brilliant and that’s new as well. Always a good time for me when you guys do a Tool song lol… you can tell you guys are guarded a little at first because you don’t know what to expect lol
Ryan and George, you two dudes have the best vibe offa each other of any content creators I've ever seen. Kudos.
Eulogy. Please
You guys have done enough Tool at this point that you should just do a full discography special.
Please do Wings 1 & 2 soon... so emotional, like a follow-up to Judith with some years of personal growth in between.
That interlude could just stay on repeat 😍
I've seen them play this live a few times and the interlude is an experience, it's very simple but I really love it. Opiate was never one of my favorite Tool songs anyway, much prefer Jerk-Off or Cold and Ugly off of that EP. I think they had to re-record the "rawer" section because this would really feel out of place with very raw live production. I really wish they would play or record the extended Jerk-Off, and Prison Sex they used to do. if you haven't heard those.
Prison Sex (OTRM) is really good! I love the added verse Maynard sings.
I like how they comment on the consistency of the "breaks" and "intermissions" with Tool's later records, not knowing that they are specifically what is new with the remake xD
Opiate was an EP (extended play) half length album, as opposed to an LP (long play) full length album
6:50 well even though opiate was released after rage against the machine's self titled. Believe it or not: Adam Jones taught guitar to Tom Morello in high school when they were in a garage band together so it's entirely possible.
It just sounds weird to me after listening to the original for over 35 years
The guitar is too upfront and overpowering imo in the new version.
Same.
Agreed!
might wanna check your math bro, cuz this song is only 30 years old... u got a time machine or sumthin?
Yea it's not as good as the original
The face George makes when he's loving the music...🤣🤣🤣
I think you guys are ready for Rosetta Stoned aka Tool distilled into its purest form
Opiate is my favorite TOOL album. Raw!
If you want Tool at their head banging best, definitely pick up “Undertow” off the Undertow album. Honestly that’s the track that non-Tool fans can listen to and get what the fuss is about immediately.
I saw them when this came out, right around this time in 1992, at CBGB, opening for Rollins. One of the loudest shows I've been to, which is saying something.
Hahaha!! George’s “ideal” song length for this song is almost exactly the length of the original!! Just thought that was funny.

Great and fair review as always, guys. You were quick to hear the "demo" and "Rage" sound. The newer version of their old song feels like a career retrospective, with their newer, progressive sound playing with their older, straight-forward rock side. I'm an older Tool fan who remembers the original version, and it's hard to overlook and accept the new additions as anything more than a $30 Blu Ray sale and an easy 10-minute song to wedge into the recent concert series. Aside from that, they are worthy of starting from the beginning of their career and seeing how they literally progressed in sound to appreciate their attention to detail and ability to grow and expand their way to pieces like Pneuma.
Please do “No Quarter “it’s a Led Zeppelin cover song and it’s amazing really think you’ll enjoy it a lot thanks have a wonderful day !
The original is so much better though! :(

@@elitejudah713. they already heard it in passing, they said that in one of the reactions
@@senorsavage8702 I know, in invincible... But a review would still work, the epic gong smash n everything. They'd for sure get the views if that's what it's about.
@@elitejudah713. it's not about the views they don't like doing songs they both have already heard except for special circumstances.
Whoa, so I've been a big Tool fan since High School (which is pushing 16 years now) but I don't listen to music as much as I used to, I had no idea this song was made :O I am both ashamed and excited lol Thank you for this!
They have a new music video for the song, as well
4 weeks till i see them in dublin
Yes an EP released in '92 that has some bangers on it. Half of it was recorded live from a bar gig. It's worth listening to.Tool & Rage Against the Machine were coming up together. Lots of videos on YT of Maynard singing vocals on Rage songs live. It's been fun watching you guys become Tool fans over the last 4 years. You guys get it.
OK...now you guys HAVE to review the original...we need to know which you prefer !?
"Original"... all day..!
@@2869may Yeah, me too !

@@kennethalbert4653 Right, it was cool... just not as cool....lol
