A Punch to the Face...a Venting Thread!

Blatant hyopcrites. It's one thing to change your mind on a matter, but to be two-faced, consistently, is another... My :2 cents: :thefinger

The media, sometimes i wonder if they suck on purpose or they're just really that bad !

I know what you mean. Have you ever heard about a subject on the news that you knew a lot about? Then after you get done hearing about it you can't believe the inaccuracies. Then you wonder how many other things they are wrong about and you do a little research and find out that half the time the media doesn’t know what its talking about. Sometimes I think they just don't care. Needless to say I take everything they say with a grain of salt.

I took an entire class on this in college. It's scary to think that some people believe every single thing they see on the news just because it's the news.

I don't think that I have made a political comment on this board since the last election, but here goes:

Nightfly, your quote must be directed at the democatic party and their new direction to rewrite history regarding the the US's initial involvement in Iraq. It just amazes me how these so-called politicians can spin and twist their own statements. They have no regard to how their "new" version of history bolsters the terrorists and hurts troop morale.

BTW, I like to punch the boardster that wanted to punch anyone who put politics on the board..............Dude, if you want to look at porn, just go to "Freeones babes" and skip this one. This part of the forum is called "Freeones Talk". Politics is a whole pile of bull shit. But, at times, interesting BS. There are numerous fellow boarders that I think are crazy with their extremely liberal viewpoint. But, it is their opinion and I respect their insanity. Most of the time I start their post and start laughing so hard that I move on.

My two cents,

Ranger:glugglug:

They suck on purpose:1orglaugh Just remember while the United States government claims not to have state controlled media, technically that's false. The FCC will directly say what the media can and cannot report to the American people. Where is the FCC located in government? They are an independant agency of the presidential cabinate. Created to regulate all forms of the mass media. Even though they are not directly in the executive branch, you can bet the bureaucracy is telling the FCC what the media can or cannot report to the people. If anyone gets any of their information on any subject from the news, I suggest you do a bit of research and find out what the media is putting in or leaving out.

Just my :2 cents:

Drew Rosenhaus (Terell Owens'- and lots of other players'- agent).

The mere sight of this guy makes me want to punch him in the throat, and then watch in glee as he chokes.

Pissed is what I was when my brand new $4,000 Alienware laptop had a blue screen error and started glitching. There is no word to describe how angry I am after 2 hours on the phone with tech support, where even after taking apart the computer almost completey apart, they don't know what happened and I have to send it back not even having it for a full two weeks.

You know I could say its not the end of the world, just the band ending to a good weekend, but oh yeah I spent all of Saturday at Tripler Army Hospital in horrible pain because I had a kidney stone that didn't want to pass, but the best part of that was, the doctors refused to believe it was a kidney stone and were trying to treat me for STD's........you should've seen the shock on their face when I presented them with an actual stone.

I really, really just want to kill someone right now.

LOL!!! Oh my God - this is the post of the week!! :nanner: :1orglaugh

Sorry for your PC problems! http://board.freeones.com/showpost.php?p=517172&postcount=1

There are few things more frustrating when you are sick/in pain and doctors get 'god' complexes and start telling you that you are wrong - even when you are right.

Hmmm...forgot to post my thoughts on something else:

"A third of people believe a woman is partially or completely responsible for being raped if she has behaved flirtatiously, a survey suggests.
The Amnesty International poll of 1,000 people also found over 25% believe she is at least partly to blame if she has worn revealing clothing or been drunk."

Oh the signs all started on Wednesday when I first noticed the pain and went to the clinic and they gave me some powder mix and said it would cure it. Then when the pain got unbearable and I went to the clinic on Saturday, before they recommended me to go to the emergency room, I found out the powder was to treat Clymadia. Then the first thing the doctor at the ER asked me was "Have you ever had a recurrent outbreak of Herpes before?" It took everything I had not to choke out the doctor right there. Then to finish it all off and make my day complete, after I gave them the urinalysis with the kidney stone in it, the doc had the nerve to come in and actually say "Well the results came back and you certainly did have a Kidney stone." I actually bit my lip so hard that I drew blood.

Awwww, poor DB! I hope you're feeling better now despite your crappy weekend.

AND..............the week just continues to get better.

So my platoon just got a handful of new joe's this week and before one them even has her first day here, the dumb bitch attempted suicide by trying to OD on something. Now I have to pull suicide watch on her on Thanksgiving because she is too stupid to do it right the first time. I swear I'm just going to be sitting there one day and my head is just going to fucking explode, no warning signs, no notice, just exploding head. :spump:

Good Lord - send her to the psych ward. Why the hell are you having to watch over her? I thought you were like a tank guy or something...lol  :hatsoff:

Let me get this straight. Your teammate in your platoon tried to end her own life, and your crying like a little girl because you have to man up and take responsibility, to watch and hopefully help through her time of need.

My mama raised me to help and to care. To be a strong humble man. I could not think of a more worthy thing to do on our Day of Thanks then to help a friend find the beauty of life.

NOT COOL.

Yeah and my parents raised me to appreciate life. There is not one valid reason for suicide, so if you think you are so worthless that you should kill yourself, then do the world a favor and do it right the first time. I've seen people who are suffering in horrible pain and barely alive and they are thankful for ever breath they still have. I will not be PC about suicide, I will not be polite or respectful, if you are that much of a pussy that you can't take the world then do it and get it over with. If you are feeling so depressed that you think that is your only option, then get help, there is dozen and dozens of ways for help and if you chose not to take them, then its your problem.

I can name the people I've seen die and the dead bodies I have carried of people who have died from war, age, disease or accident and I know they would've given almost anything to still be alive, yet I should feel sorry for someone so ungrateful of life that they want to commit suicide? Hell no.
